ITIL® V3 Intermediate MALC (Managing Across the Lifecycle)

Accredited training in IT service management.

The training is the last stage leading to the ITIL Expert certificate. During this training, the participant gains practical skills to use knowledge from the entire range of ITIL publications. The training is mainly based on practical exercises.

The training prepares you for the ITIL® Intermediate – Managing Across the Lifecycle (MALC) exam and for obtaining an international certificate.

WARNING! According to the guidelines of the accreditation, the training can only be purchased together with the certification exam from 1.11.2019.

Exam and certification

Thanks to practical exercises, training participants will be able to apply the knowledge obtained during the training as part of their duties.

The condition for participation in the training is to have the ITIL® Foundation certificate (2 points in the ITIL certification) and to collect a minimum of 15 additional points in the ITIL Service Lifecycle or ITIL Service Capability certification paths.

The requirement for taking the exam is to have the ITIL® Foundation certificate, obtain a minimum of 15 ITIL points at the Intermediate Service Lifecycle or Service Capability level, and complete the ITIL Managing Across Lifecycle training at an accredited training center. Before taking the exam, it is recommended to take at least 28 hours of individual learning in the areas of ITIL® IT Service Management described in the scope and study plan and in major ITIL publications (SS, SD, ST, SO, CSI).

Passing the exam means receiving 5 points in the ITIL® classification and thus obtaining the ITIL Expert certificate.

ITIL® Intermediate - Managing Across the Lifecycle (MALC) certificate is granted for lifetime.

Exam details:

  • Duration: 120 minutes (or 150 minutes for non-native speakers)
  • Volume: 10 complex questions
  • Positive result: 70% of correct answers (35 points)
  • Language: English

 

The exam is available:

  • on paper (during stationary training)
  • in electronic version (during online training).

Take2 – re-sit exam option

Take2 has been prepared for participants who want to feel more confident when taking the exam. This solution is currently available for Peoplecert-accredited exams only.

Purchasing this product allows you to re-take the exam in case the first attempt fails.

The possibility of using this solution applies to both paper and electronic exams. Regardless of the form of the first exam, the second approach is always online exam.

Purchasing a second exam approach is binding and non-refundable/changeable. Take2 is executed only in case of failure in the first attempt (it does not give the opportunity to improve the result from the first approach).

The cost of Take2 is 285 PLN + VAT, which is a small part of the price of the exam. The purchase can be made through the Application Form: just check the option "Take2 – re-sit exam option".
