Training description

PRINCE2 Agile is a combination of flexible and giving an opprtunity to quick reaction Agile method with the mature PRINCE2 management frameworks.

It is an extension module useful to everyone who  uses the PRINCE2 methodology, but needs as well guidance on how to use agile methods.

We invite you for a 2-days training including:

  • PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner training conducted by an accredited trainer,

  • sample examination tests,

  • PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner exam.

    The training is conducted in Polish language but it bases on English-language material training, with an exam in English.


The purpose of the training

  • Understanding the basics of agile method

  • Understanding the purpose of the PRINCE2 connection and agile methods

  • Assessment of how the PRINCE2 principles can support project management including Agile approach

  • Understanding how PRINCE2 topics can be adapted to the needs of the project with taking into account Agile concepts and techniques


Target group

The training is recommended to those who work or iwho are going to work as project managers in organizations which use PRINCE2 methodology, but intend to use Agile techniques too.


Requirements for listeners

From October 2016 it is possible to take part in training and certification on the basis of the PRINCE2 Foundation certificate.

In addition, holders of one of the below certificates are entitled to participate in the training and  take PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner  exam

  • Project Management Professional® (PMP),

  • Certified Associate in Project Management® (CAPM),

  • IMPA Levels A,B,C and D® (Certified Projects Director).


This training is not a repetition of PRINCE2 trainings. It is a unique combination of PRINCE2 methodology with elements of Agile. We recommend participants to revise PRINCE2 methodology before the training.

Accredited training with a certification exam.
Exam is usually organized on the last day of the training.

We strongly recommend purchasing PRINCE2 Agile Guide publication and using it during the training and examination.

  • Prioritization (along with MoSCoW)

  • Topic: change

  • Topic: organization

  • Servant Leadership or service leadership

  • PRINCE2 rules and Agile approach

  • Topic: Risk and usage of the Agilometer

  • Product Delivery Management process in combination with Scrum – including topics: Plans and Progress, estimation, burn charts and Task Groups

  • Topic: quality t and "Definition of Done" criteria

  • Stage Control and Closing Stage Management processes in comparison with frequent releases and retrospectives

  • Project Control and Closing Processes in Agile approach

  • Communication and workshops

  • Kanban

  • Lean Start-up

  • Health Check tips and guidelines, Agile transition - including advice for project manager

  • Summary

  • Preparation for the exam
