Training description

The MoP® Practitioner training is based on the practical implementation of the knowledge acquired during the MoP Foundation training. Training participants should be able to successfully implement and adapt portfolio management to the given organisation. Specifically they should be able to:

  • Establish business justification in order to receive the management’s permission for portfolio management,
  • Plan the implementation of portfolio management,
  • Adapt MoP principles, practices and techniques to various organisational environments,
  • Evaluate example MoP documents,
  • Conduct an analysis of the solutions used in the context of the given scenario.

MoP Practitioner is a two day intensive training which builds on the knowledge acquired during the MoP Foundation training. Additionally, the training will prepare participants to the MoP Practitioner examination which will be conducted on the second day of the training.

Training objectives

Course prepares participants for MoP Practitioner certification.
The training is accredited.

Target group

This course is intended for:

  • people who participate in making decisions on launching projects and programmes,
  • people who participate in supervising the execution of projects and programmes,
  • people who participate in making decisions concerning organisation strategies,
  • those who want to expand their knowledge of business change management in an organisation.


Participants must have completed the MoP Foundation training and exam.

Accredited training with certification exam.
We usually organise the exam on the last day of training.
The MoP Practicioner exam consists of 80 multiple choice questions and takes 3 hours. During the exam you can use the “Management of Portfolios” guide. To pass the exam you must get at least 40 correct answers (50%).
