PRINCE2 is a world wide recognized project management method that is gaining widespread popularity. It places particular emphasis on the business justification of ventures, their organization and the responsibilities of individual roles within the project team, including orderly and logical planning by the project manager.
PRINCE2 is the quintessence of the British approach to project management, and has gained widespread popularity around the world, particularly in Europe and Asia.
This methodology can be used for any and all types of projects because it deals solely with the tasks of project management without directly dictating the nature of the work being done by the project team. PRINCE2 can therefore be applied even to specialized trades such as bridge construction, registration of pharmaceutical products, implementing IT systems or TV advertisements. The methodology of PRINCE2 is structured in such a way, that it can be applied to projects of any given size, from planning the enhancement of IT systems to building a stadium for World Championships.
|The methodology of PRINCE2 is an excellent platform for delivering projects in businesses and organizations of any size and trade. In a methodical way, it organizes the way a project is planned, implemented, closed and the results evaluated.|
Agile is an advanced management approach. It may relate to any aspect of management, starting from teams through projects to programmes and portfolios. Agile may deal with small team management but also may help delivering a project in traditional corporate governance.
Experiences collected from multiple projects show that the traditional (waterfall) approach to project management, in many cases unfortunately does not bring the expected results. The reasons may be as follows:
As a result, projects do not end on time, the customerd do not receive what they expect, and the products are of poor quality. This entails a reduction in the return on investment (benefits) or delays its delivery. That's why organizations are looking for other, more flexible approaches to project delivery. However, for organizations that already have standards of formal project management, popular nowadays Agile approaches are dubious and their application appears to be risky.
Such organizations need mature agile method, the method that is nimble and at the same time the method that has a built-in project management - Agile Project Management - AgilePM®
This is a comprehensive compendium of knowledge pertaining to the application of the Agile approach in projects. It includes guidelines on appropriate project management – AgilePM (the role of Project Manager) and information on the professional and Agile culture-adapted business analysis that is very important for the project (the role of the Business Analyst).

Scrum is currently the most popular Framework in the family of Agile methods.
Scrum is frequently applied during software creation and development, but it is not limited to this area.
It puts a particular emphasis on the utilization of feedback information, from stage to stage, on self-organisation of teams, and most of all on the establishment of tested, working and usable “growths” in a product. All that is accomplished in short, usually 2-3 week long time stretches, called the “sprints”.
The method is described in the Scrum Guide – Rules of the Game, which was prepared and is updated by the Scrum creators: Ken Schwaber and Jeff Sutherlant. Contrary to traditional approaches, such as PRINCE2 or PMI Scrum has no complex management layer. This is why many authors describe it as a methodology for executive teams. What is worth stressing is the fact that the roles described in Scrum, the team self-organization, the emphasis put on supply of working products, all that in total results in a very effective tool for use in projects.rczanie działających produktów, wszystko to samo w sobie daje bardzo skuteczne narzędzie do wykorzystania w realizacji projektów.
Scrum was created as a framework for software development. Today Scrum is applied to full range of human activities that require teamwork and where time forms a crucial factor.
It grants enormous increase in task completion speed, team motivation and creativity and the simplicity and elasticity in product development.
We offer a two-day Scrum Master Workshop training that introduces the principles of this method in a workshop fashion.
You will find the training program here.
FACILITATION is a way (which can also be a lot of fun) to achieve serious results by uniting the people around solving a problem that is significant for them. In this process the person called the Facilitator increases the efficiency of group’s work (by introduction of appropriate process) and introduces an atmosphere of understanding and cooperation. As a result of the Facilitator’s activity we obtain better quality of decisions and solutions, in a shorter period of time, and all that in a friendly and inspiring atmosphere.
Facilitation is not a form of consulting or coaching, but may become an important element in management of a team, complicated task or project. The ability to facilitate is necessary for modern leaders, and it does not require special personal traits. You can learn to facilitate!
We call the meeting with independent Facilitator the Facilitated Workshop. During this workshop the facilitator takes care of efficiency of actions and the achievement of the set goal, with proper engagement of all participants. Facilitation tools allow you to draw the creativity and openness of your teams, helping you to solve even the most complex problems together.
Facilitated Workshops are recommended by the AgilePM methodology as a tool for increasing the efficiency of executive team communication and helping the entire project team make a better use of their skills and knowledge. The art of facilitating meetings allows even the most differentiated groups to work together and achieve substantial results in short periods of time.
