Praxis is an open-source platform. Available on the Internet under Creative Commons license. It includes knowledge, methodology, competences and a maturity model. As it uses terminology that is consistent across all elements, there is no need to explain anything and agree between the different parts of it regarding projects, programs and portfolios.
The framework takes into account the fact that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to initiatives of all sizes, so the platform is customizable – by introducing your own process model, templates and content.
The platform is developed by the community, therefore suggestions for fixes or additional functionality for any item are reported using the posting feature. Praxis provides a wealth of free resources, including: an encyclopedia of tools and techniques, templates, articles, a 360 ° maturity assessment tool, a glossary of terminology related to project, program and portfolio management.
