Three Trees by Norman Gorbaty, Amer. (1932-2020) Etching A typed and signed notePen and Bistre Ink Drawing, 2011, 13 13 16 x 19 7 16, sheet 16 x 21, signed and dated in ink lower right margin corner, on a full sheet of warm white laid WORTHY watermarked paper. A forceful and energetic drawing by Gorbaty, who was equally at home with painting, drawing, sculpture and printmaking. A student of Gabor Peterdi, Albers and Louis Kahn at Yale, Gorbaty forged a successful career as illustrator and graphic designer while raising a family.
