I painted it over two sunny evenings in late summer, just after finishing shifts at my part time job before I took the leap into being fully self employed. It holds a special place for me because it reminds me of that in between stage, when I was working hard and quietly building towards my dream. I even filmed the process, and theres a YouTube video of me painting it in my black sketchbook the original, which
