2023 Cuesta Chardonnay | Far East, Man!, VQA Twenty Mile Bench Pinot Noir et très complexeThe nose is enigmatic: a dark petrichor or dusty slatey mineral stone becomes lemon confit. Cuesta really resembles Wismer Foxcroft, with a darker minerality and perhaps a more focused mouthfeel, with some dusty saline notes, and an inviting sea salinity.
