I generally had a slight preference for the estate Pinot Noir

indeed the mouthfeel of the middle weight flavors is chiseled though the tannins shaping the short finish are grippy and serrated

I loved this wine

This is also difficult to read as the residual fermentation aromas presently dominate the nose

finishing with a mineral lift

delivering black cherries and black olives in equal measure

the 2011 Bruno Giacosa Barbaresco Albesani Vigna Santo Stefano had no such issues

This lovely effort is a relatively classic MdT and should age accordingly

with gorgeous delineation throughout
